Hi, I’m Amy & I joined our team in 2016 after qualifying as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Leeds university in 2008.
I am very approachable and enjoy working closely with nervous patients and children. I regularly attend hands on courses, lectures and meetings to further my skills which include carrying out dental hygiene treatments, including AIR-FLOW to help brighten teeth, fillings and Enlighten Tooth whitening. I have recently become trained in using our latest iTero intraoral scanner and enjoy being able to show our clients the outcome of their Invisalign treatment as well as using it to monitor their teeth and gums.
I am now able to see clients directly and carry out full scope of practice without patients needing to see a dentist first ( except tooth whitening). This change came into place on 1st May 2013.
In my spare time I’m busy being a mummy to my 3 year old twins Amelia and Jack and enjoys keeping active.
