Hi, I’m Joanne, I joined The Smile Boutique team in 2017, and graduated from The University of Birmingham as a dental hygienist & therapist in 2012. I offer treatment to existing patients, and also under direct access; so, you don’t have to be a registered patient to book a hygienist appointment.
I am qualified to provide tooth whitening, 3D scans, fillings and extractions of children’s teeth, as well as all dental hygiene services, including periodontal treatment and air polish.
I am a perfectionist and always work to a high standard. I have an interest in periodontal (gum) health and love to see the results and improvements after periodontal treatment. I work closely with the dentists here to ensure all our patients have the knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy mouth.
I enjoy the cosmetic side of dentistry and my patients have had fantastic results from both enlighten tooth whitening and the airflow stain removal system.
Outside of work I enjoy a range of sports including running and skiing, and love to do art and crafts. I regularly attended dental courses and training, to ensure I keep up to date and expand my skills.
