At The Smile Boutique, our aim is to provide high quality care and treatment in a relaxed, comfortable and safe environment. We are committed to continuing education and keeping abreast of the changes in modern dentistry. Most of all we encourage preventative techniques - helping you to understand how to maintain the health of your mouth and keep it free from tooth decay and gum disease.

Therefore we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to join our maintenance plan, as we believe this provides the best chance of keeping dentally healthy and reducing the need for treatment. Our plan also allows our patients to budget for their routine dental care.

  • 2 x 30 minute appointments with our in house hygienist/therapist
  • 2 small routine x-rays per year
  • 10% discount on treatment fees (excludes appointments with our excludes appointments with our endodontist, periodontist and implant surgeon)
  • Membership card with 24 hour helpline for dental emergencies at home and abroad
  • Supplementary Insurance, including worldwide dental injury

 

For your Children, we will

  • Design a preventative programe with you, for their particular needs
  • Help them and you understand:- Plaque, The causes of decay, The causes of gum disease, What part diet plays, How to brush your teeth and how to clean the parts you may be missing
  • Talk about your diet and encourage the good habits and advise where necessary
  • Talk about the things you like to eat and how to eat them

  • 2 detailed examinations per year
  • All necessary x-rays
  • Oral Hygiene and dietary instruction
  • All fillings on primary teeth
  • 25% off private treatments for secondary teeth(excludes treatments with our excludes appointments with our endodontist, periodontist and implant surgeon)
  • Free fissure sealants
  • Membership card with 24 hour helpline for dental emergencies at home and abroad

FAQs about the Smile Plan

How do I join the plan?
Joining the plan is very simple.  All you have to do is complete a Direct Debit mandate and registration form and your membership will be effective immediately.

How do I leave the plan?
If you find you ever wish to end the agreement you can do so simply by giving us one month’s notice.  Naturally, if amounts due to us are not paid for two months in a row, we may terminate the arrangement.

What happens if I have an emergency?
If you have an unexpected emergency whilst at home, such as an accident or toothache, then in normal circumstances you should ring our emergency number, +44-17-3355-1534.

If you are away from home, membership of our plan allows you to call the dental helpline who will put you in touch with a dentist who can help: (UK) 0800 525 631

If you are overseas when you need help, the dental helpline will endeavour to find an English-speaking dentist to assist you.  In these circumstances please ring our helpline: (Abroad) +44-17-4782-0841

How do I claim under the Supplementary Insurance?
If you are away from home and have to see a dentist in an emergency, you should receive the temporary treatment necessary to render you in a comfortable condition.  Please pay that dentist and ask for a written receipt and details of the treatment carried out.  On your return home, we will help you complete a claim  form and submit this to DPAS, who administer our plan.

We will also help you fill in a claim form should you need treatment for a dental injury.  If the treatment is likely to cost more than £255 (and thus require prior authorisation from DPAS) we will provide a costed treatment plan.  An assessment by an independent dentist may be requested before this permanent treatment is authorised.
